Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy
This policy applies to purchases made from Silversaga Patterns.
(A) Digital Downloads
Our digital sewing patterns are supplied as downloadable digital files. Because of the nature of digital products, they cannot be returned once access to the files has begun.
Cancellations before fulfillment
If your order has not yet been fulfilled and access to the digital files has not begun, you may cancel your order using the cancellation options available at checkout or in your customer account.
EU/EEA right of withdrawal for digital downloads
If you are a customer in the EU/EEA, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases.
However, when purchasing a digital product from Silversaga Patterns, you may choose to receive immediate access to the digital files before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period. By doing so, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access to the digital files begins.
Once access to the digital files has begun, the purchase is final and cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded, except where required by law.
Defective or non-conforming digital files
If your digital file is defective, for example because the file is corrupt, the download link does not work, or the product is materially different from its description, please contact us at info@silversagapatterns.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
We will first try to correct the issue or provide a working replacement file. If we cannot provide a suitable correction or replacement within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Minor differences in how colors appear on screen, printer settings, or paper size settings are not considered defects in the digital product.
(B) Custom-Cut Fabric
Fabric sold by length is cut to your specifications. Because the fabric is custom-cut for your order, it is exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal and cannot be returned simply because you changed your mind.
Cancellations
You may request to cancel a custom-cut fabric order before cutting has begun. Cutting may begin within 24 hours of order confirmation. Once cutting has begun, cancellations are no longer possible.
Defective or non-conforming fabric
If the fabric you receive is defective or materially different from its description, for example if you receive the wrong fabric, the wrong length, or fabric with a major flaw, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@silversagapatterns.com.
Please include your order number and clear photos of the issue.
After reviewing the issue, we will offer an appropriate solution, which may include:
- A replacement of the correct or non-defective fabric, with shipping costs covered by us; or
- A refund of the fabric purchase price and applicable standard delivery costs, where required by law.
We may ask you to return the defective or incorrect fabric before issuing a replacement or refund. If the issue is confirmed as a defect or non-conformity, we will cover the reasonable return shipping costs.
Color variations
We make every effort to display fabric colors accurately on our website. However, actual colors may vary slightly depending on your monitor, device settings, screen calibration, lighting, and fabric batch.
Minor color variations are not considered defects. Only significant color discrepancies, where the fabric received is materially different from the online description or any physical sample provided, are eligible for a replacement or refund.
