The Eleonora dress, is the perfect blend of vintage romance and modern elegance, designed for effortless everyday wear. Inspired by classic chemise dresses, this timeless design offers a flattering, adjustable fit with a tie and elastic at the neckline and waist, plus A-E bra cup options to ensure comfort for all body shapes.

The dress features short or long gathered raglan sleeves with ruffle details, a four-panel midi skirt with hidden pockets, and a deep hem. Customize your look with three views: an adjustable ruffled neckline and waist (Views A-C), an elasticated channel under the bust for added shape (View B), or a cinched bodice with shirring above the waist for a flattering silhouette (View C).

This dress was my best selling design during S/S2022 and S/S2023.

Cup options
Bra sizes A-E options included.

Note
Sizes 34/36 and 52/54 are double sizes as this pattern is adjustable and has been known to run large in size. I'm a size 34 and wear size 34/36 in the sample.

Sewing difficulty
The pattern is suitable for intermediate sewists. You should be able to sew a channel for the neckline and the sleeves. The neckline and the waist is finished with elastic and an adjustable tie. There are options of shirring or elastic under the bust.

Fabric suggestions
Choose a lightweight woven fabric such as cotton voilé or cotton lawn. The Eleonora dress was originally released during my S/S2022 and S/S2023 slow fashion collection and made in a lightweight crinkled cotton.

Fabric usage
3.14 meter (EU34) to 3.78 meter (EU54) for the two panel skirt. 3.14 meter (EU34) to 5.50 meter (EU54) for the four panel skirt. Read more about it in the instructions.

The pattern is perfected in every detail

The pattern is perfected in every detail, and the instructions were very clear and precise. A big advantage is the ability to choose from different views to best match the dress to your preferences. It was a pleasure to sew the Eleonora dress, and even more so to wear it! This is the prettiest dress I have ever made, I'll be wearing it all summer :)

A beautiful pattern! I would call myself an adventurous beginner and this was my first try at an intermediate sewing pattern. The design is amazing and the instructions were clearly written.

I have not had a chance to make it yet, but the pattern looks very clear and was easy to download. I've tried many variations on a chemise style pattern and this looks like the best one!

Second dress I’ve ever sewn! I did run into a couple issues but between the pattern instructions and the video tutorial I was able to figure it out. And the result is beautiful. Thank you!
