One of my most requested designs, now available as a designer sewing pattern with high quality instructions.
The Emma dress and top is a romantic sleeveless garment with feminine details, perfect for warm summer days. The pattern comes in A-F cup sizes and features wide gathered shoulder straps, a gathered bodice with elastic channels below the bust and at the waist. The sweetheart neckline is finished with an elastic channel and a ruffle. The elastic makes the dress and top both comfortable and flattering to wear and breastfeeding friendly. View B is perfect for scrap busting as it only requires around one meter of fabric.

Sewing difficulty
The pattern is beginner friendly. There is no zipper, the dress and top uses elastic to go over your head. You should be able to sew a channel for the neckline elastic and a bias binding for the armholes. Pockets are optional.
Fabric suggestions
Choose a lightweight woven fabric such as cotton voilé, cotton lawn or cotton poplin. My samples were made in a lightweight crinkled cotton, 85 gsm. This design also looks beautiful in a sturdier cotton, such as a cotton poplin.
Fabric usage
Dress 2.2 meter (EU34) to 2.4 meter (EU50). Top 1.05 meter (EU34) to 1.3 meter (EU50).
